Description: after 3 tic ties and 11251 attempts I finally got this run. and the final demo doesn't even look that good imo. there's at least another half second to squeeze from this run but I'm completely fine with settling for a 4 tic improvement :).

now lemme explain why this run is really really annoying:
-stairs

that's basically it but also not really, the stairs are mostly fine with the exception of the 2nd stair case you have to descend to get into the torch room. that room is genuine torture cause without perfect momentum management your time is going to be utterly cooked outside of getting miracle luck somewhere else. beyond this much of the rest of the annoying or stupid bits of this run were mostly just cope. I used to hate the movement after the red key grab but it's not too too horrible with enough practice (probably well over 3 hours spent there with saves to perfect my turns) after that is the red room which is mostly annoying cause of the switch but for starters the sr50 into the switch section is also annoying cause it's just kinda akward to hit. after that the barrel switch itself is dogshit because it feels very out of your control as to whether you can actually hit the switch on the first press or not due to how colliding with the barrels effect the switch distance. another aspect that sucks about this section is the quick turn around sl50 followed by an sr50 past the barrel which both cost me a good deal of attempts but are mostly just skill issue on my end. The bk grab is fine as long as you have good position after picking it up and my pace was actually pretty slow to this in this run but my execution in the outside area got me tied at the door (lame cause I had at least 4 runs with better paces to the door that either fucked the last jump or just had bad movement there losing time) but I was able to clutch up and get the demo.
