Rocket Launcher (+) Calamity Blade simulator :)

TompPrime (on Youtube) beat my previous 3:28 with a 3:17 and some extra improvements. There was definitely a lot of potential to get an even faster time so I decided to go for it and a sub 3 I got! (Check out their video and great run)

Hey did you know you can "One-Shot" the Cyberdemon with 3-2 charges of the Calamity Blade. 3 charges to guarantee the kill, 2 charges to be stylish, which means its easier with 3 charges compared to 2 charges. 4-5 charges is overkill. You need to aim at the centre of the Cyberdemon and get close to maximize the Ripper Projectiles. Similar to the BFG Tracers. It also has the same Rhythm as the BFG 2-Shot method. Wait for the Cyberdemon to fire its first rocket and start charging up to 3 charges, then approach and release as close as possible to the Cyberdemon. Since the Cyberdemon was infighting in this run, I didn't need to avoid rockets and could safely approach.

The reason why the Cyber didn't get instakilled in this run is because the Cyberdemon got blocked by the torch. The way the instakill works, is that the Cyberdemon takes so much damage that it gets knocked back into the same projectiles and continues to get hit. Because the Cyberdemon was standing near the edge and next to the torch, it couldn't take any knockback and survived :/ Luckily a follow-up shot from the Calamity Blade can usually finish them off if they survive.

The end part was somewhat stressful because I knew I left an Imp alive, and was anticipating the Imp to appear near the doorway but didn't for a good bit. So I was just waiting, hoping I had enough health to survive just a bit longer to kill the Imp. Luckily I did.

The exit is exactly like E1M8's damaging floor exit. Once you reach 11% or lower the level ends, so you can exit faster by blowing yourself up.
