Crazy, beautiful, breath-taking and hard map. It's well made, it has hard and complicated parts, it puts you on your nerves when you're able to get into the control room, and the danger is obviously palpable no matter in which part of the map you are.

From the start to get into the lost soul fight isn't that bad, but making the arachnotron infight the mancubus is tedious, the same goes for the part with the 6 imps and 2 mancubus. Also, that pain elemental is horrible. Going into the old prison starts putting you in dangerous situations, like fighting imps while an arachnotron gets in your back, or killing a revenant being near of damaging floor. The baron and hell knight in the prison cells is also bad.

Now, from the lost soul fight the map gets hard, and this fight is just nerve-wrecking: kill the revenants and the baron while you dodge their projectiles hoping the lost souls don't get you in anyway. And after that, clear them so they don't bother you anymore. Next is the rocket launcher room, which can go good or bad (sometimes decent): you depend the arachnotron of the back stays near the barrels, so you explode them, and then kill him in two shots, so you get cover inmediatly from the other monsters. I would say is a coin flip. After you clear them and wipe the archviles that are blocking your way, we get into THE fight.

I'm going to explain it easily: drop down after you've killed some imps, press the four switches without missing any second, then backup where the lift is going up, which in that time the walls will lower down and start sucking everyone, and finally dodge everything until the lift is all the way up and escape. Sounds easy, but you really depend that the revenants don't start spamming homing rockets and the imps let you get some safe spaces. It's funny that in this run I couldn't do this strat, so I did the fight like it was intended I think.

After this madness, you finally reach the control room, where you finally can shut down some "lasers" in the map and make progress. Getting the yellow key is a little breath after all of this, but you still need to be cautious with the meatballs and the spiders in the outside. With the yellow key, you can finally get a backpack and get into the throne room where you get the BFG. But it won't make the map a walk in the park.

Before getting the BFG, clear the enemies in the halls can kill you easily, but using the rockets and plasma helps a lot, and after that, you finally can heal up just a bit, it can save your run. The throne room is scary when played first, but by standing near the stairs, the lost souls teleport to the revenants and they don't bother you anymore. After a doing a circle, standing at the left side (where there are falls of acid) makes the lost souls reach you so you can kill them, and also lures the majority of revenants into their death. At the end you have to clear some monsters, but not a lot.

Getting the red keycard is hazardous thanks to the acid and the cacos that can decide to shoot projectiles at you before teleporting, creating a crossfire. Here, the two stimpacks I picked up saved the run, because I got hit by a caco (I can tell you my heart skipped a beat). I use the BFG here to keep the cacos at bay, and after that, kill the remaining ones with rockets. With the keycard, we can do the underwater platforming (which is probably the second most impressive part of the level), and finally get the red skullkey. With this, we finally get our first paradise moment, getting the megaspheres. And this means is time to release hell.

Get the blue key, making dozens of zombieman teleport into all the map, and after that you have to escape the building and open the blue door. In this run, I use this moment to get the last two secrets (the cell pack and medikit up in the fall near the prison, and the invuln in one of the zombieman cells). I also use this to get the non-secret blurspheres. Finally, we are able to get into the finale of the map: the grand canyon and the platforming gauntlet.

I'm not going to explain these parts, just go and watch them, they are crazy. Just to say, I died here three times, one by the arachnotrons, and other thanks to the keyboard messing with me in the platforming. And getting 100% items is impossible, but I got all the possible items.

I'm curious who would also do this, but I'm happy with my run. Jaded rank obtained!
