This run is deceptively difficult. Mhrz spends about 3-3.5 seconds getting the blue armor instead of gunning it for the YSK door, so that is basically the entire route optimization here, and I aimed to maintain that advantage for a final time. I actually gained some time, maybe some tics through execution, but the ending I save time because I just get AVJ'd into the exit. That was not the plan btw. I had made it to the exit room like 4 total times, the first two dying from hitscan since I had no HP, and the third time I had enough HP but I tried the jump over the waterfall barrier and failed.

So on this fourth try, I tried the safer and basically just as fast strategy by pressing the switch to lower the panel texture barriers, and because this was by far my best attempt and had great pace, I was just hugging the switch and not trying any smooth or optimal movement, which slowed me down to where I realized the vile was going to hit me. In that moment, I knew I was not going to make it, so I quickly hoped one of the viles (it was so chaotic and my mind was racing so I did not know which side the blast was coming from) would fling my corpse into the exit. Well, my prayer was answered, and I got a blast that was not too directional, it basically just pushed me straight forward, which was perfect and made for a cool ending.

The entire run is pretty fast, but the one glaring slow part was the stupid BSK jump to the balcony. I know the movement I had to do for it, but I messed it up and bumped the railing and had to try again. My jump wasn't good the second try either, I just barely made it onto the railing. I lost about an entire second here, so RIP the sub 40. After investing a solid mass of time into this run, it stings a little to not get the perfect run, with such a glaring error in it like this, when otherwise the run is pretty much perfect and looks cool.

I made some minor route tweaks here and there throughout the grind. It actually turned out going faster in the blood room and the balcony outside was somewhat safer and at least as consistent. I cannot tell you how many ways this run can fail, so good luck to anyone who tries to beat this.
