Description:
1 minutes and 11 seconds faster than the previous record by Daerik, uses a better route and had incredible luck, route could still be quite a bit faster and I made several mistakes which cost a lot of time.

I find this map very interesting as a max because of how many route possibilites there are, I settled with this route that should get sub 9 minutes if I don't have to look for missing monsters and make horrible mistakes. I had a faster route where I'd get under 8 minutes in practice quite often, but it would have taken quite a bit of a grind to get a clean run with good infighting.

Here I missed 100 cells leaving red key baron room, ending was a disaster and super lucky I didn't die, red key cyber I wasn't sure if I should try and go for the cells, but I figured it had to be low and started using the SSG. Overall unbelievable luck, 470 something kills going to barons at key red, the vile that died around the corner to like 1 BFG tracer, pretty much every cyber at low health, cyber in the smaller area killed nearly every revenant, very good infighting several places. Invulnerability was a disaster which led to the luckiest part of the demo. My first succesful run thankfully, I didn't want to do this more than once.

Route info:
There are 3 parts to this route:
1: Get as much infighting going as possible at the start.
2: Get red key and clear red key area.
3: Clear the rest of the level.

Before firing a weapon most monsters are idle so it's easy to then go for yellow key to open up the big monster closets, good infighting in this area is a requirement, ideally you'll be left with low health cyberdemons at yellow key right before the end of the level and you want to give them a lot of opportunity to infight.

Next get rocket launcher + BFG and use switch that opens up the soulsphere/baron/hellknight/cyberdemon room. I try to get some infighting going here with the cyberdemon and a few barons, but the cyberdemon is unlikely to achieve much from my experience so I use most my cells here.

Then I'll drop down to the side area and pick up 500 cells and get everything infighting there as well. Best outcome is the 2 cyberdemons with revenants inside the room all end up dead, apparently that is possible, but most likely you'll be left with 2 cyberdemons with varying amounts of health on the second visit. Important for the other cyberdemon up top in this area to fire at the revenants before you leave, usually he'll clear out like at least half of them which makes it a lot easier to clear out when you get back here.

Next I kill the cyberdemon on the other side. It's still early in the run and this cyberdemon doesn't really infight much so getting him now instead of at the very end seemed better for ammo management. Next I get rid of the vile and barons by the yellow key partially to help infighting in the area more likely.

Now we've released everything and hopefully infighting goes well we can go straight to red key and start clearing out the map from there. I clear out the revenants + 2 viles to make the invulnerability last further into red key area, but that's the kind of thing you'd skip on a faster route. Try to get more infighting with the next 2 cyberdemons and all the cacodemons/pain elementals + some revenants. Rush to red key and hope you don't get pushed down or take too much damage, and there's like a 50/50 chance if the cyberdemon in the middle room will start infighting in the brief moment he sees you.

There I'll try to clear out the barons with rockets + rockets from the cybers, they can die really quickly with a little bit of help. The cybers at red key I waste quite a bit of cells for safety. Next up just clear the revs/viles with rockets and then clear the rest of the area.

I have 600 cells around the BFG area + 300 more cells up top and whatever I have left, I want to have as much as possible for the rest of the level to make sure I don't run out. Once the upper area is clear I need to check on the 4 cyberdemons to make sure they've cleared everything. If I have enough cells I can clear everything at the start area.

The last teleporter which opens up the arch-vile revenant closets I will usually run backwards instead of rushing one of the viles, there's a chance you just get hit by absolutely everything while you can't see anything so I lose a few seconds on this.

At this point everything should be dead, if not I'm in trouble, if there was something I was supposed to see but just didn't then it'll be in the upper center room or the large outdoor area, but most likely it's something in red key area. Usually from practice I don't have too many problems with missing monsters, though it's not that rare that you have revenants falling down in red key area or a cacodemon flying around in there.
