I wanted to demo this because it's one of my favorite maps ever, and it's between this map and AV01 for best Map01 in my opinion. I was also motivated by the facts that I have not done many speedrun maxes recently, and vile and mhrz competed a little on this back in the day. I had a 3:42 after 90 or so attempts, but it was an ugly demo and didn't have great RNG. This run here has 2 major errors, the first being I messed up my movement while grabbing the berserk, and I ended up flubbing the input sequence. You can see I switch to SSG before picking berserk up after killing the PE, and that was because I was anticipating the auto-switch to berserk upon picking it up, since I wanted to get an SSG on the cacos before dropping down. But my movement messed my timing up and it just looks ugly, only could get a few pitiful chaingun rounds off as a sad, meaningless consolation instead.

The other major error is pushing the cyber into the pit with plasma, I was so focused on dumping cells into him as fast as possible that it wasn't until he was clearly stuck on the edge that I realized my mistake. You could see my realization and subsequent recalibrating of my angle to try to avoid pushing him off, but I quickly decided it wasn't feasible and just finished pushing him off, eating the time loss and accepting the ugliness of the demo begrudgingly, since I knew I had gotten great infighting for a new pace PB.

I will clean up this run at some point, but I think submitting will stave off my desire to grind for a bit. The run depends on infighting RNG and cyber not destroying you when riding up the lift (both times), but overall it's very fun and has great movement + flow. Just an amazing layout and progression, monster placement, resource distribution, and midi.
