Comments: Submission for The Doomed Index. I found this map easier than the previous map, or at least it had less growing pains. Other than the final fight, most of the other fights in this map are actually pretty tame. There are a few somewhat risky fights for me including the tunnel of 6? archviles resurrecting the revenants and imps you killed, and the teleporting revenant cyberdemon arena (I had a really frustrating death there from the secret archviles). The big arena fight before the final fight isn't too tense either. Even though I used a cheesy strategy for it on my successful attempt I got through it most of the time during practice playing it by ear. The final fight though is a menace, i really wanted to be able to consistently beat it under the assumption I would have to pick up a megasphere before I started it assuming the archvile wage went bad, but i just couldn't consistently beat it, so i needed the extra health from a good archvile wave attempt. In this run, my archvile attempt was super sloppy, even though I know with the use of the invulnerability it should be consistent to do damageless. I got really lucky with some early archvile spawns, that I could kill, and even luckier escaping a trip around the areana with 9 health left. Overall, this map did not frustrate me like MAP06 did.
