Comments: At first I was going on the old route, and it didn't seem like 59 was particularly realistic; possible, but would require everything pretty much going well. I was going to settle for a 1:01 probably because the barrier was too far, though I saw 1:00 as a realistic time as well.

Eventually, this small route change occurred to me: picking up the SSG is just unnecessary in this map. You can chaingun stun the first chaingunner before then pretty effectively, then push past or kill the next imp as well. For the chaingunner at YK, SSGing him barely makes a difference; often the shot has to be fired from too far away to kill him, plus you can easily die from the manc there anyway. Two chaingunners at mega are unnecessary to kill; chaingun stunning works well there too, and the SSG shot is risky anyway. The only other place where you might need the SSG is the ending, but with luck, you can just run around everything, and SG the final chaingunner (even if you don't kill him, you can press the switch thru him, as in this run)

This overall saves 1-2s, enough for the barrier. It is actually less luck-based at the start than you might think. Chaingun stunning is just OP, and you can retain quite a bit of health to the YK. That said, it's far from consistent, and you still lose a shit ton of health more often than not. The other problem is it makes the ending a bit more risky. Not killing the mega chaingunners and some of the other chaingunners substantially reduces your health, and it's really easy to lose all of it by the ending. I had especially low health here, but I just got lucky with survival.

58 is a realistic time here, but minute barrier was the goal. This took 2K attempts; far more than I expected, and definitely an overdose of this map. :^) With everything absolutely perfect (e.g., imps opening the door when coming down from mega), 57 should just be barely in reach, but that would be crazy to go for. :P The worst part of this exit is that imp block before the yellow key room; just seems to be RNG tho whether that imp blocks you or not. Overall, it's not that much under 1:00, but I'm happy that this run at least looks clean and has some exciting parts; pretty much no time wasted to anything other than RNG it seems.
